Bought used from Beemans when they were in San Rafel CA. 1982. Tuned it on 5/25/06 with Maccari spring, seal and lubes. Accurate powerful reliable. My #1 airgun. |
5 shot group from R1. Sub half inch ctc with 4 of the 5 |
pellets in one clump of lead. The rifle can do better than this but most of
the time I can't. Range 25m. |
I get the best results with a medium field hold, by pulling the stock tight
into my shoulder before relaxing everything. Then I hold the pistol grip
very lightly trying not to disturb my sight picture. Trigger is set to a
long two stage with a very very light second stage pull needed to break the shot. |
Scope is a Leapers 3 - 9 x 32 AO MilDot. $44.10 at PyramydAir.
Mount is an Acushot one piece with built in stop. |
