Valiente Co2 .22cal Thumbhole |
This gun is nice and light very quiet to shoot with no recoil and can be made very
powerful with a heavier hammer spring. Currently the trigger is heavy and
front barrel band moves too easily. It needs a barrel re-crown too |
Not good accuracy. No consistency. I can improve it but not sure if the
expense makes it worth the effort. |
I need to add an extension to the stock and do quite a bit of work to get this one
shooting to it's full potential. I've got it set to give 20 good shots
per fill and I get about 5 fills to a bottle. The last two fills only give
about 10 good shots. |
Bolt is pulled out, then rearward to cock and open loading port. The horizonal
adjustment cap on the leaper's scope makes it a bit of a chore but you get
used to it. There are two settings for high and low power. I use low
power for maximum shots per charge and just target shoot. Co2 is expensive
here, about 75 pesos ($1.50) per charge. Thats why I mostly shoot the
R1 plus it' much more accurate. |
